Everyone thinks dogs are
Man's best friend because
few pay attention to
The other creature with paws
The one that gives trouble
And in the darkness lurks
Yet is still cute and fuzzy
And only to us do they purr
They slink about the house
With out a single fuss
But they will comfort you
In they absolutely must
They may not make
Much noise or mess
But they are well known
For their videos on the Internet
People may say
That they're not good as dogs
But remember that the Egyptians did
Worship them as Gods!
Know you know that cats
Aren't made of stone
Do yourself a favour
And got one of your own!

Hello again! October the 29th is National Cat Day where we pay attention to neglected cats who are in refuge and celebrate the ones we have and the joy they give us. Hope you enjoy!

I prefer dogs, but I've had some adorable cats as well, and this poem really reminds me of the good times I've spent with them. 
I do think they're quite clever, for example sensing where you're hurt and therefore lying there to keep it warm.
."Worshiped them as Gods!" - Shouldn't it be "worship"?
